Some Thoughts on Art
Abstract art suggests . . . and the observer naturally creates his own image from the suggestion. If the artist simply copied reality, the observer would be limited to the artist's view.
Each viewing creates a unique, shared experience . . . if both the viewer and the artist do their job well, it will truly be a pleasant and enlightening experience.
Every observer brings a different background to the viewing, a different frame of reference, and a different perspective from that of the artist.
